On Getting Screwed and Other Recent EventsFigures. I get a day off - goto Busch Gardens - only to find out that I am the victim of identity theft. Someone had copied my ATM Checkcard and cleared out my checking account and then some, leaving my balance at -$800 when there should have been a couple thousand at the very least. Then I call and bitch out my Bank who fought me tooth and nail about reversing the charges (which were made in Kissimee - while I was here in Tampa). Finally 2 weeks later, they reverse the charges. Now all I have to do is wait til they finish "researching" my claim before they will refund the $330 overdraft charges THEY charged to me before I can leave SUNTRUST and goto a reputable bank, like Bank of America or something. Moral: DONT USE SUNTRSUT - THEY LIE ABOUT THEIR FRAUD PREVENTION PROCEDURES AND THEN TREAT YOU LIKE A CRIMINAL AFTER THEY GIVE AWAY YOUR MONEY TO STRANGERS AND CHARGE YOU FOR THEIR MISTAKES. Besides that - everything is going well I guess :) Hung out with a guy I met online yesterday - invited me to join him and a friend out at the pool for some sun and Pina Coladas. Since I had nothing to do (Spring Break -so no kids rehearsals) and since he had the most charming smile on the planet, I went. I had a good time, but was my annoyingly shy self most of the time. Anyway, he seems like a really good guy - and I wouldn't mind seeing him again - but we'll see... In other news, I'm becoming a Public Notary - so now I can charge $20 to marry people...Too bad the only person I know who would leagaly get married is Maria - and she hasn't got any prospects at the moment... OH well, I'll just have to use it for work for a while....
